Explanation of Solution
If the volume of the two objects is same but different masses, the one having a higher value of mass will contain a higher density.
The relation between mass and volume is:
For example, each liter of water and gasoline do not have the same masses. The mass of water is 1.00 kg per liter but the mass of gasoline is 0.66 kg per liter. This can be seen from the values that water has higher density than gasoline.
Thus, for 1 L of volume, mass of water is 1.0 kg and that of gasoline is 0.66 kg.
