Explanation of Solution
It is right that one can’t see air but anything that has mass and takes up space is considered as Matter. To prove that air is matter, perform an experiment-Take two balloons inflate both of them with air. Both the balloons become larger in size due to air into them. These changes in size prove that air taken up space.
Now tie both the balloons at the ends of a string which is balanced by a meter stick. Meter stick will tilt towards the heavy mass balloon. Now take a needle and poke a hole carefully in a balloon. Air will leak out so meter stick tilt towards lighter side balloon. Balloon becomes lighter when air is removed from it. This experiment proves that air has mass and it occupies space. Finally, it is proved that Air is matter.
