As shown in the heating curve of mercury, melting point of mercury is -38.83°C. At this temperature there is phase change from solid to liquid.
Then temperature is again increased until it reached at 356.7 °C. This is the boiling point of mercury. At this temperature there is phase change from liquid to vapor state.
After this again temperature is increasing.
