Explanation of Solution
When an orange farm is forecasted for freezing, the farmers usually sprays water to the trees. When there is a drop in temperature, this water freezes and heat is released into the environment.
This is quite enough heat to keep the fruit preserved from freezing. Thus, causing an ice to form on the oranges actually saves them from freezing.
