Explanation of Solution
A system regulates the direction of heat flow with the circulation of heat energy in it. Flow of heat takes place from regions of high energy to regions of lower energy.
The amount of heat energy of a certain volume or mass of material is known as the enthalpy, and it is directly proportional to the temperature of the material. Heat flows from high- to low-temperature regions due to the enthalpy in the high-temperature regions is higher than in the low-temperature regions. As the difference in temperature between two regions rises, the rate of heat flow consistently increases.
