Concept Introduction:
Chemical formula represents the composition by using the chemical symbols. Subscript that is present after each chemical symbol represent the number of atoms of the element that is present in the compound.
Molecular formula is also a chemical formula that is given to compounds. This gives information about how many different types of atoms of each type of element is present in one molecule of a compound. The chemical symbol of the element is written that is followed by subscript which tells that how many atoms of the element are present in it.
