Explanation of Solution
The amount of product formed by the calculation of balanced equation and stoichiometry of the reaction is termed as theoretical yield. The amount of product produced in a chemical reaction is termed as actual yield. The ratio of actual yield to the theoretical yield is called percentage yield of the reaction.
