Explanation of Solution
The package of cheese contains 15 slices and the loaf of bread contains 24 slices. It is known that a cheese sandwich is made by one slice of cheese and two slices of bread. Since one slice of cheese makes one cheese sandwich. Therefore, 15 slices of cheese will make 15 cheese sandwiches. It is also known that one cheese sandwich requires 2 slices of bread. Therefore, 15 cheese sandwiches will require 30 slices of bread, only 24 slices of bread are present. Therefore, bread is the limiting reagent and will run out of first.
Since 2 slices of bread make one sandwich. Therefore, 24 slices of bread will make 12 breads.
