Explanation of Solution
The titration is phenomenon via which the strength of acid or base is calculated. In titration, the solution with known concentration is termed as standard solution. The standard solution reacts with the sample to be analyzed. The color change indicates the end point. This color change is due the presence of 2-3 drops of indicator. Indicators have different color in acid or base. Therefore, indicators are also used to distinguish acid, base, and neutral substances.
