Volume of the solution is the quantity of solution. Concentration of solution is the strength of solution.

Explanation of Solution
If volume of solution is increased the concentration of the solution will be decreased.
If the concentration of a solution needs to be increased, then volume of the solution must be decreased by removing some amount of solvent.
The concentartion of solution is calculated as follows:
Here, n is number of moles of solute and V is volume of solution in L.
