Explanation of Solution
Anything which occupies space and have mass will be considered as matter. It can be solid, liquid and gas depending on the arrangement of particles or atoms present in it.
Solids have packed arrangement of particles so they are rigid. They havea definite shape, as well as mass and volume. But in case of liquid, particles are more loosely packed than solids. A gas has no definite shape or volume as the arranged particles have more space between them.
