Interpretation:
The type of tools and equipment used by the chemists needs to be explained.
Concept introduction:
The chemists should use some tools and equipment for their safety and better results and data interpretation.

Explanation of Solution
Chemists use many different tools and technologies to perform their work in labs. Chemists should protect themselves from dangerous chemicals and this equipment is used for this purpose. Nowadays, the equipment has developed to ensure even more comfort and safety of the chemist.
One can easily determine the unknown compound using XRD, FTIR, UV-Visible spectroscopy, NMR, mass spectroscopy and calorimetry methods, etc. Nowadays, the work has become more accurate with the computer system. All the data based work and prediction of the data can be done by using the software. The computer-aided equipment has replaced older machines and results are also accurate. Bunsen burners are used for heating or combustion of the chemical compounds and beakers to hold and transfer the samples. Standard tools are used to measure the weights, glasses are used to protect the user from toxic chemicals and high-power ventilation is used for air safety.
Apart from this, some specific experiments require specific tools. The thermometer is used to measure the temperature of the reaction mixture. Burette and pipettes are used in the titration method. Thus, there are different types of tools used in the chemistry laboratory.
