Introduction:

There are certain process and hormones that control and regulate glycolytic pathwaywithin a cell. They aremajorly controlled by kinetic properties of the hexokinase isoenzyme, shich stabilize and regulate blood sugar levels in human cells. When blood glucose levels are lowered, these properties further allow cells of the brain and muscle to avail sufficient supply of glucose. The increase in blood glucose levels causes the cells do notphosphorylate excess glucose levels and thus, supply necessary amounts required by the cells of the body.
