Interpretation :
The relation between the number of gas molecules in a sample and pressure must be explained.
Concept Introduction :
Pressure of gas generated due to the collisions of gas molecules in the wall of the container.
Answer to Problem 1TAI
Higher the number of gas molecules in sample higher is the pressure of the gas.
Explanation of Solution
Gas molecules are always moving with different speed in the container. The gas molecules collide with themselves as well as with the wall of the container. Thus, pressure of the gas is generated. Now, if number of gas molecules in a sample increases, then more number of collisions will be there and more frequently gas molecules will be colliding with the wall of the container. So, pressure will be increased.
