First, find the prime factors of 3 and 5.

Prime Factors of $3=1\times 3$

Prime Factors of $5=1\times 5$

Lowest common multiple of 3 and 15 $=3\times 5$

  $=15$

Second, find the lowest common multiple of $y\&x^2{y}^2$

Factors of $y=y$

Factors of $x^2{y}^2=x\times x\times y\times y$

  $=x\times x\times y\times y$

  $=x^2{y}^2$ This is the lowest common multiple of $y\&x^2{y}^2$

  $15x^2{y}^2$ This is the lowest common multiple.
