Calculation:
A prime number is a whole number greater than 1, which has only two factors- 1 & itself. Such Numbers are either divisible by 1 or themselves. For example, 17 is a prime number, as it can be divided by no other number , except for 1 & 17.
Hence, 17 is a prime number.
A Composite number is a number which is not prime & has more factors, other than 1 & the number itself. For example, 12 is a composite number, as it is the product of two smaller integers
Hence, 12 is a composite number
