Variable is $x$

  $4x>5x-15$

Given information:

Four times number of baseball cards in T’s collection is more than 5 times that number minus 15.

Calculation:

Let the number of baseball cards in T’s collection be $x$

Four times a number of baseball cards will be equal to $4\times x$

Five times a number minus 15 is equal to $5x-15$

It is given that Four times number of baseball cards in T’s collection is more than 5 times that number minus 15.

So the Inequality becomes:-

  $4x>5x-15$

On subtracting $5x$ on both sides

  $4x-5x>5x-15-5x$

Thus,

  $-x>-15$

Hence,

  $x<15$
