2,3,7,8tetrachlorodibenzopdioxin , is a polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxin with the chemical formula of C12H4Cl4O2 . Its structure consists of two benzene rings joined by two oxygen bridges. Therefore, this compound is an aromatic diether. 2,3,7,8tetrachloro signifies the presence of four chlorine atoms present on carbon number 2,3,7 and 8 respectively.
