Introduction:
Glucuronic acid is the monosaccharide derivative of glucose. The CH2OH terminal of glucose molecule undergoes oxidation, which results in the formation of glucuronic acid. The steroid is a lipid-soluble molecule derived from cholesterol. Steroids combine withglucuronic acid to increase its solubility in water.
