Density of gas decreases because of gas particles. It occupy more volume per unit mass.
Explanation of Solution
From Piston A to Piston B, volume increases but density decreases at constant molar mass. It can be defined by given formula.
Density=MV.
Thus, density and volume are inversely proportional to each other. If volume increases, density deceases keeping mass constant.
Density depends upon mass and volume of gas.
