Iodine melts on heating. The bottom of the tube is hotter than upper region of tube.
When the tube is tilted the melted iodine starts flowing toward colder end. Therefore, it is gets solidified.
Flowing of melted iodine from hotter region to colder end of tube makes it solidified.
