Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation: The change in the gas pressure due to warming of the sample of gas needs to be explained on the basis of kinetic-molecular theory of gases.

Concept Introduction:

The ideal gas equation can be used to calculate P, V, T and number of moles of gases. It is basically the combination of different gas laws such as Boyle’s law, Charles’s law, Gay-Lussac law and Avogadro law.

The ideal gas equation can be written as:

  P×V = n×R×T

Here, P is pressure, V is volume, n is number of moles, R is Universal gas constant and T is temperature.
