Explanation of Solution
The electron which is away from the nucleus possess higher potential energy while the electron which is close to the nucleus possess lowest potential energy. So, it conclude that the potential energy is inversely varies with the distance of electron from the nucleus. So, electron in closet orbit is tightly bound to the nucleus as compared to distinct one and the principle energy level is represented by “n”.
