The number of moles of each element in $1.25$ mol of $C_6{H}_{12}{O}_6$ needs to be determined.

Concept introduction:

$1$ mole $\to$ It is amount of particles which contains $6.022\times {10}^{23}$ particles, atoms, molecules;

$1\text{ mole}=\frac{\text{given mass}}{\text{molar mass}}$

Mole concept is used here. Basic unitary method is used for the calculation of moles.

Explanation of Solution

When $1$ mole of a substance is taken, its constituent gives some number of each substance according to the molecular formula of compound.

For example,

$1$ mole $C_x{H}_y{O}_z$ contains

$x$ moles Carbon atom

$y$ moles Hydrogen atom

$z$ moles Oxygen atom

Calculation:

$1$ mol of $C_6{H}_{12}{O}_6$ contains,

$6$ moles Carbon

$12$ moles Hydrogen

$6$ moles Oxygen

$1.25$ mol of $C_6{H}_{12}{O}_6$ contains,

$6\times 1.25=7.5$ moles of Carbon

$12\times 1.25=15$ moles of Hydrogen

$6\times 1.25=7.5$ moles of Oxygen
