A neuron is a particular type of cell that carries messages, information or signals to and from the brain and the other body parts. A neuron cell has 3 main parts- the cell body, the dendrite, and the axons. A neuron is the combination of a nucleus, cell body, axon, axon hillock, dendrites, and axon terminals. Synapse is a junction between presynaptic and postsynaptic neurons.
