Summary Introduction
Lymphocytes are the class of white blood cells act against foreign particles or pathogens. They are mainly involved in the immune system of the body. Lymphocytes are T cells, B cells, and natural killer cells. T cells or T lymphocytes are produced in the bone marrow and matured in the thymus. T cells are classified into three classes such as cytotoxic T cells, helper T cells, and regulatory T cells. They are classified according to their surface molecules and functions. They regulate the cell-mediated immune response, which acts against antigens, microorganism, or abnormal cells in the body.
