Chapter 34.5, Problem 1RIA
Summary Introduction

Antigen-presenting cells (APCs) are a group of immune cells involved in the regulation of immune responses through antigen processing and presenting to T cells. APCs such as macrophages, dendritic cells, and B cells display antigens or foreign particles, which are complexed with MHC-II on the surface of APCs. APCs process antigens or foreign particles and present them to helper T cells. This process is called the antigen presentation.

What is an Antigen-presenting cell (APC)?
What is an antigen-presenting cell? By which mechanism do the “present” antigens?
