The data distribution of salaries of Yankees
The data distribution of salaries of Phillies range from 0 − 2 million’s to 14 − 16 million’s. The shape of the distribution is skewed to right.
Here the class intervals in horizontal axis of salaries of Yankees are different when compared to that of Phillies. Yankees have class intervals 0 − 5, 5 − 10, 10 − 15, 15 − 20, 20 − 25, 25 − 30, 30 − 35, 35 − 40. Phillies have class intervals 0 − 2, 2 − 4, 4 − 6, 6 − 8, 8 − 10, 10 − 12, 12 − 14, 14 − 16.
When the class intervals are different we cannot use these two histograms effectively and make conclusions.
