Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:

To draw and label the different parts of a TTT diagram.

Concept Introduction:

Time-temperature-transformation diagram is also called as Isothermal transformation diagram. They are the plots of temperature versus time, mostly on a logarithmic scale. They are generated from percentage transformation versus time measurements. They are helpful in understanding the transformation of an alloy steel at devoted temperatures. TTT diagrams graphically describes the cooling state required for austenite to get converted to pearlite, bainite and martensite.
