Introduction:

Enzymes are the biocatalysts that speed up the rate of any biological reaction at optimal conditions of temperature and pH (potential of hydrogen). They act by decreasing the activation energy of the reaction without altering its Gibbs free energy and are specific to their substrate due to unique active sites. Concentration and activity of the enzyme are related to the metabolic flux and metabolon. Studies such as in vivo, in vitro, and in silico are different from each other based on the experimental conditions and the technique used.
