The coenzymes can be defined as small, organic, and nonprotein molecules, which can bind the enzyme in loose association. They are attached to the enzymes to help in the catalysis of the reaction. It itself does not carry out any mechanism but can be reused when paired with an enzyme. Some of the coenzymes are derivatives of the vitamins.
