Introduction:
Radiation is defined as the transfer of energy in the form of waves, like
Radiant energy can travel through space between particles of a solid, liquid, or gas. These particles can absorb the radiation and emit the energy they absorb. This energy will travel through the space between the particles and then finally it is absorbed and emitted by other particles.
The energy transfer due to radiation is considered best in the case of gases. In gases, the particles are much farther apart in comparison to solids or liquids. This extra space allows the energy to travel more easily through gases.
