To explain: There is snow on the roof of some homes and there is almost no snow on the roof of some other homes during the snowfall.
Answer to Problem 14R
The snow on the roof is because of good insulation and if there is no snow on the room then it means the roof has bad insulation.
Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
The proper insulation of the roof will not let the heat go out of the house. The improper insulation of the roof will lead to transfer of thermal energy from the house.
The hot air goes upward because of the low density and transfer the roof if the roof is not properly insulated. Then the snow on the roof started melts slowly those results of no snow on the roof of some house during snowfall. There are some homes on which snow can be seen because the roofs are properly insulated and hence it will not allow the heat to pass the roof.
Conclusion:
Hence, the snow on the roof is because of good insulation and if there is no snow on the room then it means the roof has bad insulation.
