Answer to Problem 62E
Totally randomised system
Explanation of Solution
Graph:
This is a totally randomised system, since the treatments are distributed entirely by chance to all experimental units in a strictly randomised system. The following description is provided:
Here, 18 plots are assigned randomly for three separate treatments: water supplement equal to 20 percent of the rainfall annual from January to March (winter), water supplement equal to 20 percent of the annual rainfall from April to June (spring) and no water supplement (control). The total biomass generated in a plot over a year in gram per square metre is our response variable.
(b)
To Explain: how the groups will then be randomly assigned to the three treatment.
(b)
Explanation of Solution
The plots are assigned from 01 to 18 to execute the plan. Create 18 paper plots of 01 to 18 equivalent. In a jar, blend and draw 6 pieces. Place them in a jar. Group 1 is allocated to the first six pieces. Draw six more slips and add those Category 2 maps. Group 3 is allocated the remaining 6 plots. After a year, comparison of the total biomass produced in three groups, in grammes per square meter.
