Explanation of Solution
Explanatory variables can further describe the variables for the answer. Here, a textile manufacturer has developed a new line to finish the raw material. The roller line is used to lift the surface of the material using both metal rollers and natural bristles; a dying period time of 30 to 40 minutes:
of either 150- or 175-degrees Celsius temperatures. Both these variations will be compared in an experiment. Each procedure is applied to three specimens of fabric and the consistency is assessed. That is why,
Experimental units: here, all the roller cycles are added to the surface of the cloth, so Cloth is the experimental unit.
Explanatory variables: Responses here are depending on the type of roller, the dyeing cycle time and the temperature, which are the factors.
Treatments: Any roller, time or temperature is chosen. Two alternatives exist. This offers eight treatments a complete variance. Let any treatment (Roller form, dying cycle time in minutes, degree Celsius temperature) be represented. These 8 therapies are as follows:
