A news organization wants to know what percent of the U.S. residents support a “pathway to citizenship” for people who live in the United states illegally. The news organization randomly selects registered voters for the survey.
The sample considered for the study is biased in nature as the sample covers only the people who lives in the United states legally while it does not take into account the people who lives in the United states illegally. As the sample covered cannot clearly defines the result of the survey because they have the citizenship and have no problems. Thus, this results in the undercoverage and under estimation of the study.
