Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation: The reason corresponding to the fact that both $\alpha -\text{D}-\text{glucose}$ and $\beta -\text{D}-\text{glucose}$ are soon present if $\alpha -\text{D}-\text{glucose}$ is dissolved in water has to be stated.

Concept introduction: $\text{D}-\text{glucose}$ is a monosaccharide with a molecular formula of ${\text{C}}_{\text{6}}{\text{H}}_{\text{12}}{\text{O}}_{\text{6}}$.  It has aldehyde as a functional group.  A carbon chain of six atoms is present in $\text{D}-\text{glucose}$.  It is an aldohexose.
