Event A is rolling an odd number and Event B is rolling a 1.

The outcomes for event Aare1, 3, and 5 and the outcome for event Bis 1

There is one outcome that is 1 is common in both the events.

Hence, the events A and B are overlapping.

There are 6 possible outcomes. There are favorable 3 favorable outcomes that is 1, 3, and 5 for event $A\text{ or }B$ .

So, $P\left(A\text{ or }B\right)=\frac{3}{6}=\frac{1}{2}$
