  $A\text{ and }B$ are overlapping event and $P\left(A\text{ or }B\right)=\frac{1}{2}$ .

Event A is rolling a number less than 2 and Event B is rolling an odd number.

The outcome for event A is 1 and the outcomes for event B are 1, 3, and 5.

There is one outcome that is 1 is common in both the events.

Hence, the events A and B are overlapping.

There are 6 possible outcomes. There are favorable 3 favorable outcomes that is 1, 3, 5 for event $A\text{ or }B$ .

So, $P\left(A\text{ or }B\right)=\frac{3}{6}=\frac{1}{2}$
