Explanation of Solution
Given information : the event is given as,
“You randomly draw a marble from a bag. then you put it back in the bag and randomly draw another marble from the bag”
from the given event it can be concluded that,
The result of obtaining a marble on the first attempt does affect the result of obtaining a marble in the second attempt since the marble is put back in the same bag, the total number of marbles in the bag remains constant. So the two events are not dependent on oneanother.
Therefore, the events are independent.
