Introduction:
Oxidative stress or attack is carried out by the reaction of the dioxygen free radicals with the polypeptide molecules. This starts off by the abstraction of hydrogen (alpha hydrogens) to form carbon free radicals. Oxidative stress mechanism is observed in destructive cell mechanisms such as respiratory burst. The formation of cross-links in the oxidative attack mechanism of the given molecule has to be determined.
