The given sides of triangle are the sides of obtuse angle triangle.

Given information: We have the given of triangle of sides 4, 6, 8

Let ABC be a triangle.

Also let a = 4, b = 6 and c = 8

We see that

  $\begin{array}{l}{c}^2>a^2+b^2\\ 8^2>4^2+6^2\\ 64>16+36\\ 64>52\end{array}$

Therefore from the converse of Pythagoras theorem if $c^2>a^2+b^2$ then $\Delta ABC$ is obtuse triangle.
