Whether the energy of light increases or decreases as the wavelength increases is to be predicted. Whether the energy of light increases or decreases as the frequency increases is to be predicted.

Frequency is defined as the number of wave cycle travelled in one second. Wavelength of a light wave is defined as the distance travelled by a light wave to complete one cycle. The speed of light is $3\times {10}^8\text{m}{\text{s}}^{-1}$.
