Summary Introduction
To review:
The terms vasa vasorum, arterial anastomoses, varicose veins, and artery.
Introduction:
Blood vessels of the human body are not rigid tubes but they are flexible parts that pulsate and relax with the growing requirements of the body organs. Various types of blood vessels namely, arteries, capillaries and veins are found in the human body. The blood vessels circulate blood with essential nutrients throughout the body, and also receive their waste products such as carbon dioxide for their excretion through the respiration process.
