Question
Chapter 20, Problem 15RQ
Summary Introduction
To determine:
The pulse point used to assess the integrity of circulation in the lower limb.
Introduction:
The systemic arteries of the circulatory system are involved in carrying the oxygenated blood from the heart to the capillaries of the organs. The pulse of arteries can be palpated in the muscular arteries at different locations of the body. The detection of pulse helps to find the heart rate and blood flow from the heart. The veins carry the deoxygenated blood from the tissues to the heart.
