Fill in the blanks with the name of the appropriate vascular tunic (intima, media, or externa).__(1) forms the valves of veins__(2) the thickest tunic in veins__(3) the tunic with the largest vasa vasorum__(4) the outer tunic; is mostly connective tissue__(5) contains endothelium__(6) is mostly smooth muscle
Select the best answer or answers from the choices given: Which statement does not accurately describe veins? (a) Have less elastic tissue and smooth muscle than arteries, (b) contain more fibrous tissue than arteries, (c) most veins in the extremities have valves, (d) always carry deoxygenated blood.
