Please disregard the question on the picture. Here's the right question, at what frequency will the value of the impedance be twice that at 25Hz (refer to the given in question #20).
An emergency power supply is required to provide a three-phase sinusoi-
dal voltage source of 208 V (L-L) at a frequency of 400 Hz. The power is
to be obtained from a battery consisting of cells in series, each cell hav-
ing an internal voltage of 2.2 V and an internal resistance of 0.006 m.
The load on the three-phase, 400-Hz system requires a fundamental fre-
quency apparent power of 7.2 kVA at 0.9 power factor lagging. The in-
ductance of the load is such that harmonic currents are negligible. How
many cells should be connected in series to provide the required output?
The switches may be regarded as ideal.
Consider the parallel RLC circuit of Figure 2 with the source a 1-kHz sinusoid having an amplitude of 5 V. Regard the source voltage
as having zero phase. Calculate the amplitude and phase (in degrees) of the following quantities: the current through the resistor, the current through the inductor, and the current through the capacitor. Calculate also the amplitude and phase of the current supplied by the source.
