Explanation of Solution
Ionic solutions conduct electricity, whereas pure neutral molecular solutions can not conduct electricity. In the absence of ions, electricity cannot be conducted. Ion will form by the transferring of electrons from one atom to another atom.
For example, sodium chloride solution can conduct electricity because it will dissociate into its ion.
