Draw an angle with the given measure in standard position.

Given: It is given in the question that the lid on a jar of pasta sauce is turned an angle of ${420}^{\circ }$ .

Interpretation:

Let’s find the co − terminal angle to the angle with measure ${420}^{\circ }$ ,

  ${420}^{\circ }-{360}^{\circ }={60}^{\circ }$

In this, use the protractor and place them in the fixed point O and mark an angle that is given in the question in anti clockwise direction i.e. ${60}^{\circ }$ in A and after that draw a line on that marking point A and it is seen in the above that $\alpha ={60}^{\circ }$ .
