Calculation: Taking one right triangle,

The angles of triangle are $30°,60°,90°$ ,

Base = $\frac{12}{2}=6$

  $\Rightarrow$ Perpendicular = $6\sqrt{3}(2)=12\sqrt{3}$ (If one side of right triangle is $a$ , then hypotenuse is $2a$ and remaining side is $a\sqrt{3}$ ).
